Though the season didn't end the way the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team would have liked, junior Felix Llanos (Queens, NY) enjoyed one of the best individual seasons in the past decade for the Golden Knights, and was named as a Liberty League Performer of the Week for the fourth time on Monday.
Llanos averaged 18.5 points per game over a 1-1 weekend, burying eight 3-pointers to maintain his lead in the conference in that category. He shot 44.4 percent from beyond the arc (8-for-18) and also averaged 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.
For the season, Llanos averaged 14.9 ppg, ranking fourth in the conference in that category. He led the Liberty League in 3-point field goals with 69 and was fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (41.3%). He also ranked in the top 20 in rebounding (3.9 rpg, 19th), assists (2.7 apg, 5th), steals (1.1, 14th), and free throw percentage (80.0%, 5th). Llanos was the first Clarkson player to average more than 14 points per game over the course of a full season since 2003-04, when Josh Harner averaged better than 16 points per contest.
