(Presque Isle, Maine)-The SUNY Canton women’s basketball team suffered a 67-36 setback to the University of Maine at Presque Isle Sunday afternoon in Maine.
Junior forward Kaitlin Myers (Dannemora, N.Y.) paced the Roos with 11 points and six rebounds.
Freshman guard Corrine Riegel (Bainbridge, N.Y.) tossed in eight points and grabbed six rebounds and junior forward Jackie Sedlacek (Endicott, N.Y.) added six points and nine rebounds.
The Owls were led by Emily Pelletier who scored 14 points. Renee Moore added 13 points and three rebounds.
The Roos hit the road again on Wednesday, Jan. 25 when they travel to SUNY Cobleskill.
