Sophomore Scott Stuart (Ottawa, ONT) of the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team was chosen as the Liberty League Defender of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Stuart faced 16 shots and made seven saves in a 2-0 shutout victory over SUNYIT last Wednesday, recording his second consecutive shutout and his third of the season. Through nine games this season, Stuart has posted a 1.19 goals against average and a .796 save percentage with 43 total saves, a figure that leads the Liberty League.
