Colchester, VT - Mike Rowe (Glenville, NY) and Sean Parnett (Clifton Park, NY) each took home first-place finishes in three events as the Clarkson University Swim team split a dual meet against St. Michael's Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Knights' men won handily, 176-108, while the women dropped a 155-106 decision to St. Michael's. Clarkson will participate in the North Country Invitational next weekend at SUNY Potsdam on Friday and Saturday during the Golden Knights' annual alumni weekend.

Rowe started off the day for the men's individuals with a first-place finish in the 1000 freestyle, winning with ease in 10:44.58. He claimed two more victories on the day, winning the 100 backstroke (55.89) and 200 backstroke (2:01.31). Parnett matched Rowe's dominance with a trio of wins for himself, taking the 200 butterfly (2:13.34) and both the 200 freestyle (1:55.88) and 500 freestyle (5:18.45). Paul Telesca (Liverpool, NY) won a pair of events, taking first in the 50 freestyle (23.38) and the 100 freestyle (51.59).
