OGDENSBURG — State police charged two people on Friday with allegedly possessing metal knuckles and hydrocodone.
Around 2:52 p.m., they say they arrested 30-year-old Ryan L. Moore of Canton and 32-year-old Kevin J. Brainard of Ogdensburg following a traffic stop on Ogden Street.
Moore, the operator, was alleged found with metal knuckles. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, due to a previous conviction. He was virtually arraigned by the Massena Town Court, and released on his own recognizance, police said. Moore is scheduled to return to Ogdensburg City Court at a later date.
Brainard was allegedly found with a quantity of acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Ogdensburg City Court, police said.
