STOCKHOLM — Three individuals have been charged with drug related offenses after a traffic stop in Stockholm.
Donald E. White, 59, of Winthrop, Rebecca A. Cloutier, 39, of North Lawrence and Michelle A. Delosh, 38, of Winthrop, were all charged following the stop, police say.
According to state police, a trooper observed a black Ford Escape on County Route 49 using a turn signal in a strange manner.
Police say a check of the NY registration showed the vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident in the village of Massena.
Following a traffic stop and interview of the driver, troopers determined he used they used a false name, according to police.
Troopers then spoke to Massena PD and ran a DMV photo identification to determine the driver was Donald E. White, police say.
Troopers say White was then placed under arrest. An investigation of the vehicle then revealed drug paraphernalia on Delosh and in the vehicle, troopers say.
No habitants in the vehicles took ownership of the drugs, leading to all in the vehicle being arrested, troopers say.
Cloutier and Delosh were transported to SP Massena for processing. Massena PD took custody of White, who was then transported to SP Massena for processing.
