POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged with following too closely after investigation of a property-damage accident Tuesday afternoon, according to village police.
Thomas M. Helmar, 34, was charged with following too closely and unregistered motor vehicle at 3:25 p.m., officers said.
The accident took place at the intersection of Leroy Street and Lawrence Avenue.
Helmar was cited and released.
No injuries were reported.
