POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged with driving while intoxicated on March 14.
Michael A. Solsberry, 37, was charged following a report of a motor vehicle accident on Market St. in which Solsberry was allegedly operating a vehicle.
Police say upon contact with Solsberry it was determined he was under the influence of alcohol.
Police also say Solsberry admitted he was using his cell phone, which contributed to the accident.
According to the report, police determined Solsberry was driving at a speed that was not reasonable or prudent for the bad weather conditions.
Solsberry was issued traffic tickets for speed not reasonable or prudent, operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device and driving while intoxicated.
He is due in Potsdam Town Court on March 22.
