Ogdensburg police blotter, June 17

• Report of vehicles in the St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union parking lot on State Street at 11:40 p.m. Police send subject on their way and advised them not to loiter there.

• Report of two people with large backpacks on the Maple City Trail at 11:15 p.m. that were acting suspicious. Police located a tote with sleeping items but were unable to locate any people in the area.

• Report of a suspicious male leaning against propane tanks at Rite Aid on State Street at 9:59 p.m. Subject stated he was from Syracuse and that he was waiting for a ride to Canton. Police gave him directions to the nearest bus station.

• Reports at 5:48 p.m. of several juveniles jumping off the walking bridge at Bjork park. Police spoke with subjects and advised them not to swim there.

• Police disposed of a needle found on Washington Street at 5:32 p.m.

• Report at 8 a.m. of a male loitering around Sunoco on Champlain Street all day. Police sent subject on his way.
