Ogdensburg police blotter, Aug. 20

• Report at 10:48 p.m. on Caroline Street of a child screaming for help. Police reported no activity of that kind upon their arrival. Two adult females advised of noise ordinance and to cease any loud activities.

• Request for a welfare check on a female with a baby, stroller and large amount of property who was crying in the corner of the parking lot at Walmart on Ford Street at 8:34 p.m. Police advised no issues.

• Report of a female carrying two large bags with strong chemical odors coming from them near Paterson and Lafayette streets at 8:16 p.m. Police said odor was coming from a boat in the area.

• Report at 6:55 p.m. from a female stating subjects were fighting with her father at intersection of Congress Street and Jersey Avenue. Incident report filed.

• Evelyn Miller was cited at 6:05 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign at an intersection and improper signal at intersection of Ford and Denny streets.

• Police disposed of a needle found behind a soda machine at Roethel’s on Ford Street at 5:58 p.m.

• Olivia McRoberts was cited for speed in zone at downtown arterial at 5:42 p.m. after allegedly driving 40 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone.

• Franci McGill was cited for speed in zone at 5:28 p.m. on SH 37 for allegedly driving 70 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.

• Jason Osgood was cited for speed in zone on Proctor Avenue at 5:16 p.m. for allegedly driving 43 mph in a 30 mph zone.

• Jesse R. Gates was cited for disorderly conduct on Ford Street at 10:55 a.m.

• Police disposed of needles found at intersection of Greene and Deviller streets at 8:29 a.m.
