Man jailed on felony DWI charge in Gouverneur, troopers say

GOUVERNEUR — A Carthage man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on U.S. Highway 11 Nov. 7, according to state police.

Jesse J. Johnson, 37, was charged with felony aggravated DWI: Two previous DWI convictions in last 10 years, officers said.

His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .19%, officers said.

He was also charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felony, officers said.

Johnson was remanded to St. Lawrence County jail without bail, officers said.
