FOWLER — A Hammond man was charged with assault Sunday stemming from an incident that day prior, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Michael C. Devito, 28, was charged with third-degree assault stemming from an incident on Smith Road, officers said.
Devito was released on his own recognizance and a stay away order of protection was issued in favor of the victim, deputies said.
