Arrested at 5:58 PM for Driving while Intoxicated, Aggravated DWI, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, and Failure to Keep Right. Defendant was driving south on William street in a 2010 Toyota when she struck a National Grid pole and left the scene of the accident. Investigation found the defendant to have a suspended New York driver’s license and to be intoxicated by alcohol with a B.A.C. of .21%. Defendant was arrested and processed at the Gouverneur Police Department where she was released with appearance tickets for the Gouverneur Town Court.

Arrested at 12:21 AM for Driving While Intoxicated – 1st offense, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation – 1st degree, leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Refusal to take a Breath Test, and Resisting Arrest. An investigation of a civilian complaint led to the defendant being found driving a vehicle and crashing into a tree then fled the scene. Defendant was later located and resisted arrest ending in a short foot pursuit. Defendant was determined to be intoxicated by alcohol and failed to provide a breath sample. Defendant has a revoked driver’s license from a D.W.A.I. Defendant was arraigned and released with appearance tickets with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrested at 7:35 AM for Obstruction of Governmental Administration, Flee Officer in Motor Vehicle, Resisting Arrest and Failure to Stop at Stop Sign (2 counts). Patrol came across the suspect vehicle while investigating a complaint into a possible domestic dispute in the Gouverneur Price Chopper parking lot. Upon activating the emergency lights on the patrol car to affect a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, the defendant failed to comply and continued driving. Defendant than did fail to stop at a stop sign on South Street at its intersection with William Street and failed to stop at a stop sign on Parker Street at its intersection with Hailesboro Street. Defendant finally stopped the suspect vehicle in front of her residence, refused to exit the suspect vehicle, and resisted arrest. Defendant was taken into custody and given appearance tickets with a Gouverneur Town Court date pursuant to the New York State bail reform legislation.
