Arrested at 10:12 AM for Criminal Possession of a Weapon – 4th Degree (Intent to Use) and Harassment – 2nd Degree (Physical Contact). Defendant was arrested following an investigation of an incident that occurred on January 15, 2023 near 7-Eleven convenience store. Defendant was involved in an altercation where the defendant possessed a broken wooden shovel handle approximately two foot long in length. Defendant used the same object to strike the victim on his left hand, right elbow and on the right side of his ribs, three to four times, causing bruising. Arrested for Assault – 2nd Degree, Assault - 3rd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment – 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief – 4th Degree (Damage Property) and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (applied pressure). Defendant was involved in a physical domestic in the parking lot of the Gouverneur Community Bank. Defendant allegedly forced the victim to not leave by threat of physical force with a knife and when the victim attempted to run the defendant grabbed the victim by the neck. The defendant allegedly bit the victim on the head and then struck the victim on the head with a rock. The defendant then allegedly took the victim’s phone and broke it on the pavement. The defendant was arrested and arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail/$20,000 bond.

Defendant was arrested following a welfare check reporting a male who appeared to be passed out behind the wheel of a pick-up truck. Further investigation revealed that the defendant was impaired by alcohol. A breath test was administered and the defendant’s BAC was determined to be .15%.
