Brasher man accused of felony following alleged domestic incident
BRASHER — A Brasher man was charged with a felony Monday following an alleged domestic incident Oct. 2, according to state police.
Brian L. Richards, 28, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, felony, officers said.Troopers said the incident took place on CR 53 and an investigation determined that Richards was made verbal threats toward the victim during the incident.
There was an active stay away order of protection in place, police said.
Richards left the scene prior to police arriving on scene.
Troopers located Richards the following day and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail on $10,000 bond, police said.
