Sixty years as a Volunteer Fireman for Potsdam, not just for his Village or for his Town but for everyone. This is what it used to be during Louis White’s life...just help your neighbor.
It’s too bad we have lost this tribute and are not teaching our children in school and in everyday living what it takes to be a “volunteer” for your community.
I’m proud to have known Louis, his family and to have served as a volunteer fireman in Norwood during his time as a neighboring volunteer firefighter.
