To the Editor:

We encourage you to vote for Scott Sutherland as your county legislator. Scott will provide the leadership to our district that has been missing since we lost Lloyd Moore.

Scott is a lifelong resident of St. Lawrence County. He served more than 33 years as a police officer within the Sheriff’s department, as well as more than 10 years on a local school board. His experience and common sense are what we need to represent our towns within the county government. He is eager to use his knowledge to benefit the county.

Scott has the skills to lead, the passion for service and the personality to get things done. He will be a strong asset on the Board of Legislators as we confront the pressures facing St. Lawrence County.
