To the Editor:
I’ve known Andrew and Renee Moses since they settled in St. Lawrence County almost three decades ago. It is this long time personal acquaintance and familiarity with his experience, character, temperament, work ethic and deep caring about children which leads me to support his candidacy for SLC Family Court Judge.
A judge in any court has great power. And impact. Andrew’s motivation for seeking this job is not personal gain, political ambition, or power within this position. No, his inspiration now, as it has been since I’ve known him, is in the helping of others; to make the best possible impact on the families of this county he has so long and loyally served.
In Family Court perhaps even more than any other, the best decisions rest with assessing the whole of the situation, searching and seeing the grey within the black and white, and caring enough to work beyond tirelessly for win-win solutions. Andrew will do this. He will use his respectful and affable personality to sustain solid relationships that we all know are a vital cornerstone of getting things done. As a retired counselor who worked over 30 years in both SLC public and private schools, I can attest, that those who obtain the best outcomes for others, do not first think of themselves. This is Andrew.
For the good of our children and families in SLC, I invite you to join me in voting for Andrew Moses, Family Court Judge.
