To the Editor:
We are looking forward to Nov. 2. On that day, we will be delighted to cast our votes for Lynn Hall for Potsdam town council.
We met Lynn and her husband Kevin soon after moving to Potsdam in the summer of 2000. In the two decades that have passed, we have shared meals, camping trips, paddling adventures, laughter and friendship. We know her to be a kind, thoughtful, caring and dedicated individual. She is fair-minded and is committed to social justice. There is no doubt that she will bring those characteristics to elected office and work to serve the people of Potsdam. She understands the work that is required on the town council and will be prepared from the first day in office.
Lynn is no stranger to service to the community. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Potsdam Food Co-Op and has dedicated her career to educating future teachers.
Lynn is running on the Sensible People Party line along with Allyssa Theobald Hardiman. We have met Allyssa on a few occasions and through those interactions we trust that she will also serve Potsdam well. Please join us in voting on Nov. 2 and help elect these two fine candidates to the town council.
