Opinion: Vote Hall, Hardiman for Potsdam Town Council, says council member

To the Editor:

I've served on the Potsdam Town Council since 2017. By working with elected officials, experts within the municipal offices, and dedicated community members working for change, I have learned so much about what it means to serve my community.

Lynn Hall and Allyssa Hardiman are running for Potsdam Town Board on the Sensible People line. I've worked with both of them and have found them both to be dedicated community members who are passionate about making Potsdam a sustainable, strong, vibrant community. Lynn's background in education will help her navigate relationships between the town, schools, and colleges, and Allyssa's background with local business will bring an important small-business perspective to the board.

I have been so proud to serve alongside the current team on the Town Board. One important element to consider is that we each bring something different to the table. These candidates will work well with the rest of the members of the board while bringing new and valuable perspectives.

Election day is November 2. Where is your polling station? What's your voting plan?

This website has information on early voting, ballot information, and the location of your polling place: https://voterlookup.elections.ny.gov/

Remember to vote Hall and Hardiman!
