Do not cut Medicaid. So many people (especially in the North Country) are dependent upon Medicaid.
We live in an economically depressed area, few jobs, high unemployment. Our doctors and hospitals struggle to keep up with costs, more cuts will not benefit anyone.
Come to area food pantries, soup kitchens, talk with the people who use them. Unemployed, disabled, young families, seniors.
Walk in their shoes for a year, you could get a good idea of what they go through just to get by. Please think of others before you vote to cut.
