To the Editor:
On August 1, the Town of Potsdam Recreation Department celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of Postwood Park. The event was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony and Family Fun Day.
We have so many people to thank for helping us make this such a tremendous success. We really appreciate the support from Town Supervisor Ann Carvill and the Town Board, along with the Town Rec Committee-Marty Miller & Sarah Lister, Town of Potsdam DPW (John Keleher), the Hannawa Falls Fire Department (Dereck Sagriff & Tyler Comins), the band “11B” (Gordon Hall, Austin Hughes, Maria Tartaglia, & Ryan Hayes), Postwood Park lifeguard staff, Potsdam Public Library (Maria Morrison for our Little Free Library & Story Walk), Yoga Instructor Sarah Morrill, North Country Crusaders, and SNAP ED Educator Whitney Callaghan.
Most importantly, we would like to thank the community for their ongoing support and assistance! We can’t wait to do this again next year!!
