Editor’s Note: This letter was addressed to Kenneth Plumb, candidate for Potsdam Town Justice.
The New York State Police Investigators Association (NYSPIA) represents over 2,000 active and retired members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) of the New York State Police. Our membership proudly serves the citizens of the State of New York in all areas of criminal investigation and it is with great honor and pride that we strongly endorse your candidacy for Town Justice in the town of Potsdam, an office for which you are tremendously qualified.
Your 20 years of experience with the New York State Police as a canine handler, BCI Investigator, and school resource officer give you a first hand understanding of the dangers and issues faced by our members. We feel strongly that your years of dedicated service make you very qualified to serve as Town Justice and are sure that you will be a dedicated and successful civil servant.
Our membership has great confidence in your ability and foresight. We offer our support and assistance in your candidacy and send best wishes for your continued success.
