To the Editor:
Our Flag
I looked around on Memorial Day
And our Grand Old Flag was on display.
It hung on homes and flag poles too,
I love to see the Red, White, and Blue.
By Flag Day there will be hardly a flag,
Except at my house, I hate to brag.
Boy the Fourth of July it’s back in its glory,
There’s a lot of history in its story.
But after the Fourth our flag goes away,
Except for a few on Veteran’s Day.
If you love our country, then fly Old Glory.
You too can be part of its story.
Fly our flag every day of the year;
Show your allegiance, make it clear.
We live in a great country, it’s true,
So get out your flag, fly the Red, White, and Blue.
