To the Editor:
We as a community need to fight against fear based sensationalism. I’ve got ten years experience working in public health and was trained by a medical anthropologist.
The use of coercion in discussion related to the pandemic is anything but scientific.
Propaganda and the exploitation of fear has caused us to turn on each other for the benefit of a very small minority which clearly benefits from our paranoia if you follow the money.
We need to reject this and remember that social animals (which we are) truly depend on social interactions for true health.
