To the Editor:
Each year on Canton’s Village Green, the Remington Arts Festival Art Show & Sale takes place to celebrate the life of Frederic Remington.
This year, the annual Remington Arts Festival Art Show & Sale was made possible in part by sponsorship from the Brewer Bookstore at St. Lawrence University. Thank you for becoming a gold sponsor of SLC Arts’ event.
The event was held on Saturday, October 3 and visitors and exhibitors followed social distancing and mask-wearing guidelines. Exhibiting artist Catherine LaPointe Vollmer of Lionheart Graphics mentioned “the turnout was higher than I expected,” and local artists participating expressed their appreciation for the event as many direct sales opportunities this year have been cancelled due to the pandemic.
Rose & Kiernan Insurance also supported the event this year.
