To the Editor:
I had the pleasure of working with Nick Pignone—then Judge Pignone—when I worked for the District Attorney’s Office several years ago. I found him a kind, compassionate and equanimous judge, while simultaneously fair and astute with his rulings.
Today I work with Nick in family court; he is law clerk to Judge Andrew Moses and, as such, helps the Court settle cases, thus keeping its docket running smoothly and efficiently, and conscientiously researches legal issues discrete and difficult. I find him just as calm and careful as I did years ago when I first met him, and I have no doubt he will be an excellent Surrogate's Court judge.
Nick Pignone is an invaluable asset to St. Lawrence County. Vote for him and allow him to serve you. You’ll be glad you did.
