To the Editor:

My name is Frannie Antonucci and I am a grandmother of three lovely grandchildren. I have been a resident of Parishville since 1992. I am a believer in the Lord Jesus and make it a habit daily of asking Jesus for angels of protection.

This summer I was blessed to have my three grandchildren for the summer. One summer day we were kayaking in Potsdam in the park near the Gazebo. I am happy to say we were kayaking and got caught in the current. I was with my grandson Killian who is 9 in one kayak and my other grandson Sean 14 was with my granddaughter Danika 6 years old in another. Before we knew it we were caught in the current and could not get out of it and started to go down the waterfall.

We went under the bridge and almost went over the dam. The rope was not that high even though we tried to hold one. I prayed and 7 or 8 people came to our rescue. I would like to thank them all. I did not get any names. Just hugs. We were so blessed. I believe they were angels sent to help us. Hebrews 13:2 - Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. [3] Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
