To the Editor:

We are quite alarmed at a recent editorial letter in The Ogdensburg Journal on 10-07-2021 by Ron Bouchard in an attempt to use a letter we submitted at an earlier date to imply our disapproval or “cut the DPW Crew entirely.”

In reality, our submitted letter stated how ridiculous it would be to cut any portion of the DPW. Mr. Bouchard left out our statement saying, “of course you would not.”

We feel this was done to mislead anyone reading it as to how we really feel about the DPW and further cuts.

We have always tried to openly display our support for and thank you all at the DPW for the work you perform here in Ogdensburg. Anytime we have asked for your assistance, advice and help, we have been taken care of immediately or very soon thereafter.

There are no exceptions, as each and every employee at the Ogdensburg DPW have been great! We have always had a great deal of respect for you all, and are well aware of how hard you all work and will continue to do so. Thank you!
