To the Editor:
In regards to the story about the Anti-vax mandate protest in Potsdam on Wednesday September 15, 2021.
I am a 52 year old man who was born in the Potsdam hospital. I have lived within 10 miles of Potsdam my whole life.
I was at the protest because I am a Federal employee who has been told that I need to get this experimental “vaccine” or be terminated. So far the word is there will be no exemptions, period.
The mandate for anyone to get this “vaccine” as a term of employment is a direct violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, the Nuremberg Code of 1947, the Americans with Disabilities Act and several others.
This protest was about the breach of all Americans Civil Liberties, not about being anti-vax, like the headline reads.
