Opinion: No one can predict what the public is interested in, Edwards resident says

I just read a letter to NCN entitled “Public not interested in political posturing.” My first question is how one decides, or determines, what the “public” is or isn’t interested in?

The public, as perceived by me and by numerous dictionaries, means the populace as a whole. If I could pinpoint the interests of that many people accurately I could make millions in the advisory professions. But I can’t; no one can!

My second question is why someone so vigorously opposed to “political posturing” would devote the entire seven paragraphs of this letter to the editor by engaging in what they supposedly abhor? And what is that? Political posturing!

Oh well!
