To the Editor:

New Beginnings wishes to express deep appreciation for all the community support during the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to generous donations from the public, the food pantry has been able to remain open and provide free food to everyone, without income restrictions. Thank you to each person and organization that joined our mission to help others in time of need.

The New Beginnings Thrift store is open for business again! The racks are well stocked with a great selection of summer clothing and the dressing room is available. There are numerous, colorful sundresses to choose from, as well as the usual household supplies. Outside tables are always filled with Free merchandise when weather permits.

The store is open every Wednesday 1 to 5 p.m. and every Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Masks are still required to enter, but all other Covid-19 precautions are discontinued. Donations of summer clothing and household items are currently accepted during store hours. No black bags. Please save winter clothing for donation in September. Call 315-322-4364 to arrange for a large volume drop off.

New Beginnings Clothing and Food Outreach is a non-profit charity located at 3605 County Route 14, Madrid. All contributions are tax deductible.
