Opinion: Mueller Report should be made public, says Potsdam woman

Posted

I called Elise Stefanik’s office this week, despite being quite sick with the flu, in order to encourage her to make the Mueller Report public. The young man I spoke with over the phone assured me that Ms. Stefanik believed in discovering the truth, and hadn’t I seen her public statement regarding that? I replied “no,” but to tell her “thank you for being supportive of the truth. Because surely, anyone who is innocent, would want a full report to come out, at the very least to exonerate him.”

It was and is my thinking that everyone, certainly Stefanik as a Representative of the people of the North Country, and especially Trump (if he is innocent), should want a full Mueller Report made public.

Apparently, Ms. Stefanik is more full of rhetoric than she is of seeking the truth.

If she wanted the truth, she would support, not vilify Chairman Adam Schiff.

What kind of country is this? What kind of “representative” is this? Not one I recognize.

I am deeply disappointed in Congresswoman Stefanik’s actions. We can disagree on many things, but the TRUTH being made public should not be one of them.
