The Massena Police Protective Association (M.P.P.A), is proud to announce our endorsement of Detective Patrick “Rick” Engle, for St. Lawrence County Sheriff.
Members of the Massena Police Protective Association know that Rick Engle demonstrates all the necessary skills and leadership qualities to become the next Sheriff for the citizens of St. Lawrence County. Rick Engle began his public service career with serving four years in the United States Marine Corp. Rick has dedicated the last twenty-two years working for the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department. Rick Engle started his career as a Road Patrol Deputy and through dedication, honesty and integrity, earned the rank of Detective. Rick now serves St. Lawrence County residents by investigating major crimes throughout the county. Rick has the experience and knowledge needed to address the various challenges citizens and law enforcement face countywide. Rick is also a member of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, Firearms instructor and Instructor for the St. Lawrence County Police Academy.
Rick has always strived to help instruct new Police Officers in the county to be educated and trained to best serve the public. Rick is the type of person who, without question, will ensure the safety and security of the public before anything else.
Rick Engle is an extremely beneficial asset to St. Lawrence County. Rick has always maintained a very positive and informative working relationship with not only members of the Massena Police Protective Association, but with surrounding municipal, State and Federal police associations. Rick is a strong supporter of the United States Constitution and all the amendments designed to protect the citizens of the United States. Rick is a very family oriented individual, a dedicated father and proud grandfather.
The Massena Police Protective Association believes Rick Engle is the most qualified candidate and proudly supports him to be the next Sheriff of St. Lawrence County.
