To the Editor:
It has been a pleasure to serve as your Highway Department Superintendent since 2010, and I humbly ask for your support on this Election Day, November 2. Twelve years in this position has taught me to experiment with different techniques to accomplish the mission of keeping Madrid’s highways and water supply safe while being fiscally responsible.
I have made myself available 24/7 to respond to emergencies. With the Highway Department being reduced by two through attrition, this has been challenging. But, my staff and I are committed to providing excellent service. I trust that folks in Madrid know that help is just a phone call away. If the problem does not fall under the authority of the Highway Department, I will work with you to steer you in the right direction.
Thank you for your support in the past. Stay safe and be sure to vote on Tuesday, November 2.
