To the Editor:

On November 8th, voters in District 15 – Louisville, Waddington, and part of Massena – will have the opportunity to vote Janet Otto-Cassada in as our legislator for St. Lawrence County.

Janet has lived in Waddington for the past 27 years, 12 of which she spent as mayor of Waddington. She uniquely has the skills and desire to reach across the aisle for the good of St. Lawrence County. Janet drove the effort to bring the Bassmaster Elite Tournament events to Waddington, which in turn provided the entire county with sales and hotel tax returns and opened the door for bass fishing events in Massena and Louisville.

Other key accomplishments she delivered during her tenure as Waddington mayor: $7.5 million to revitalize recreation facilities in the River District; $11 million grant from REDI function for a new sewer project in Waddington; $750,000 for a new Marin at Island View Park in Waddington, and over $500,000 in grants for repairs and updates to the Waddington Civic Center. These are RESULTS.

Louisville, Waddington, and Massena need someone who will work for and represent everyone in the County. She works with people, not parties; and she will work hard to deliver results for St. Lawrence County. Vote Janet for District 15 on November 8th.
