To the Editor:
With the many recent changes made to Ogdensburg’s standard operating procedures regarding emergency response, I am hereby putting the part time temporary city manager/fire chief on notice.
If myself, a family member, or any of our properties are affected by his rash decision to disallow our local fire department to respond to emergencies, I will hold him personally responsible.
He has also removed essential equipment and vehicles from our fire department, thus risking the safety and lives of our firefighters and citizens.
I will not hesitate to seek legal action against Stephen Jellie/the City of Ogdensburg for these ruthless actions.
