To the Editor:
The Village of Rensselaer Falls is the epitome of what we love about Northern New York. Drive into town and you immediately feel at home, as if you've grown up here in a former life. The small village in the town of Canton on the winding Oswegatchie River boasts the best Falls Festival around, the most dedicated volunteers, beautiful landscape, quiet and safe walkable streets, and boundless potential.
Nobody brags harder about this perfect little village than Mayor Michael Hammond, and he should. Mayor Hammond has been a great steward of finance, advocate for common sense, a good friend, and always approaches his office with a servant's heart.
Voters will be in good hands should they keep Michael Hammond moving “the Falls” forward.”
