To the Editor:

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2032 would like to announce its endorsement of Michelle Ladouceur, for St. Lawrence County Surrogate Court Judge.

Local 2032 represents the members employed at the St. Lawrence FDR Power Project in Massena. We are proud to support a local candidate like Michelle Ladouceur that will bring years of experience in many roles as a Surrogate Court judge, principal court attorney and as a private practice attorney.

Michelle has an impressive resume of well over 20 years as an attorney. She has served as Principal Court Attorney to the Hon. John F. Richey, in St. Lawrence County, and as a private practice attorney with Capello, Linden & Ladouceur, in Potsdam. Most recently, she was appointed as interim Surrogate Court judge, following the retirement of Judge John F. Richey in February. She has not only had an impressive career but has also served on numerous boards, such as the SUNY Canton Legal Studies Program and the St. Lawrence County Child Care Council.

Michelle is a member of the New York State and St. Lawrence County Bar Associations and served on the board of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country.

By electing Michelle Ladouceur as Surrogate Court judge in St. Lawrence County on November 8, 2022, you are not only voting for experience, but for a local candidate that will work hard for equal justice for you and your family.
