I am writing this letter to express my full support for Michelle Holmes Ladouceur for Surrogate’s Court Judge.

I retained Mrs. Ladouceur to represent me in a tenuous divorce and custody case while she was in private practice at Cappello, Linden & Ladouceur. Prior to our first appointment, I had met with two other lawyers in an attempt to find the most appropriate legal representation for my particular situation.

After the initial meeting with Mrs. Ladouceur, I immediately retained her as a result of being so impressed with her experience, knowledge of the law and most importantly her ability to listen, communicate effectively and provide honest and empathetic feedback during a very difficult time in my life. Mrs. Ladouceur represented me in both Family Court and Supreme Court. She worked diligently and put in long hours to ensure she was knowledgeable of all aspects of my case and always made me feel like a priority.

She was prepared for court hearings, always responded to me in a timely manner and ultimately represented me in a trial in Supreme Court to ensure that my interests were heard.

Mrs. Ladouceur’s experience and ability to help me navigate the complexities of the legal system made a very challenging situation more manageable. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to retain such a skilled and conscientious lawyer. Mrs. Ladouceur is the current Surrogate Judge for St. Lawrence County. Her kindness, dedication, attention to detail, knowledge and impeccable work ethic makes her by far the best choice to continue to be our Surrogate Judge.

I look forward to casting my vote to keep Michelle Ladouceur our Surrogate’s Court Judge on November 8.
