To the Editor:
The Friends of the Norwood Public Library recently completed their Spring Book Sale and Yarn Exchange. The book sale was successful, and plenty of people came to exchange yarn. We enjoyed seeing so many new faces.
We would like to thank all of the people who came to the event, as well as everyone who donated books or yarn. A special thanks goes to Claire Burkum, who sorted much of the yarn. Thanks also to North Country This Week for publicizing our event, and NCPR for adding us to their calendar of events.
The Friends meet at the Norwood Library on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in helping to support our great small library is invited to come. Attendance at meetings is not a requirement just a willingness to help out.
