Opinion: Fort La Presentation Association thanks all for great event

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Fort La Presentation Association and The Forsyth’s Rifle Reenactor group, we would like to thank everyone who made the Le Siège de Fort de la Présentation event a great success.

Reenactors came from Quebec and Ontario, Canada, as well as New Hampshire and Massachusetts and finally New York.  Many of our reenactor community had not been to our event even before Covid and expressed their amazement to the improvements which have been made to the property.

The historic Mass held on the former Duffy property was witnessed by many guests.

We would like to now thank our visitors who braved the hot temperatures. They brought with them a great interest and questions about our hobby and the history of our property.

We would like to recognize those who supported this weekend event.
