I have known Nicole Duvé for over 20 years, first as a judge in Potsdam when I was on the police force there, then when she was our district attorney from 2006 to 2013, when I had the distinct pleasure of serving as her chief confidential investigator.

I observed Nicole working hand in hand with our law enforcement partners day and night. Nicole provided expert legal guidance on many major investigations to federal, state and local agencies as St. Lawrence County’s top law enforcement official. She earned the respect of top criminal investigators. She also maintained day to day operations in a remarkably busy and understaffed district attorney’s office providing prosecutors to all 32 courts in the county – no small feat!

Nicole respects the right to own and possess firearms and is herself the holder of a valid pistol permit. Nicole believes residents of St. Lawrence County should have the same opportunity to obtain an unrestricted permit as the residents of our neighbors in Franklin and Jefferson counties.

Nicole has the knowledge, experience and legal expertise to be an excellent county court judge. I will be voting for Nicole Duvé on election day and I urge everyone to do the same.
