The St. Lawrence County Corrections Association Local 2390, is proud to announce our endorsement of Detective Patrick “Rick” Engle for St. Lawrence County Sheriff. We strongly believe that Rick Engle is the right person for the position.

Rick Engle has given twenty-two dedicated years to the Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of St. Lawrence County. Rick also served four years in the United States Marines. The experience Rick has gained through his years of service have proven him resourceful to not only the entire Sheriff’s Office, but to other law enforcement agencies, fire and rescue personnel and members of our community. One of Rick’s greatest leadership qualities is his ability to communicate. Rick also values each member of a team equally, making him very approachable.

Rick’s positive and proactive approach to the changing demands in law enforcement and corrections will not only be encouraging to the employees of the Sheriff’s Office, it will be the drive to successfully achieving goals as a team. Rick has a proven track record of supporting his co-workers and ensuring they have the tools and resources to do their job effectively.

Rick’s love for his country, community and the great outdoors proves his commitment to upholding the Constitution of The United States and the rights of the citizens in St. Lawrence County.
