I recently saw a photograph of the top 10 academic seniors at Canton High School. I know many of them from various places around the community and I salute them all for their academic achievements.
I would like to point out that three of the 10 are alumni of St. Mary’s School in Canton. I would also like to let people know that this is not unusual.
Over the last several years St. Mary’s grads have been at the top of their classes at Canton, Potsdam, and Edwards-Knox.
The dedicated staff and small class size at St. Mary’s gives students a solid academic foundation on which they will build for the rest of their academic careers.
I encourage parents of young children to consider St. Mary’s for the all-important elementary school years.
