Due to the unforeseen circumstances we were given because of COVID-19, I want to take this time to thank all the people that made our graduation ceremony a memorable experience for our seniors.

The Graduation Committee members who brainstormed the various graduation scenarios and the logistics of how each one would function. The Madrid and Waddington Fire Departments for their assistance with parking.

Patty Van Patten for her artistic creativity and time spent in the hot sun going up and down the hill to create the amazing message that honored the Class of 2020. Lori Macintosh for volunteering her time to create the senior slideshow. The IT Department for assuring that our outdoor wifi network was able to live stream the event and for the constant sound checks to make sure everything could be heard outdoors.

To Buffy Gabri for taking the time to spruce things up with her flower arrangements.

The Town of Waddington for the use of their stage. To Mayor Zagrobelny who secured the use of the inflatable bandshell through North Country Events.

To our maintenance and custodial staff that went above and beyond during the set up and clean up. To the Senior Parent Group for your input and communication throughout the closure.

Throughout the North Country and beyond, Class of 2020 high school graduates missed a great deal of what it means to be a high school senior.

In the end, I am grateful for everything the above people did to honor our seniors and their parents during our graduation ceremony. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
