Opinion: Calling facts-driven journalism ‘fake news’ doesn't make it true, says Massena resident

Facts still matter. Absentee millionaire Cult 45 Rep. Stefanik -- and reps Nunes and Jordan -- knowingly violated clearly established rules, purely as political theater and solely to distract viewers from a mountain of uncontested evidence from fact witnesses to bribery, abuse of power, and obstruction of justice by a sitting president of the United States.

Facts, logic, reason: they're not just for breakfast anymore. Rather than fall prey to cynical and increasingly feeble attempts to obfuscate and distract from undisputed facts, I urge every voter and fellow citizen to please read news sources devoted to facts rather than right-wing outlets such as Fox, Breitbart and Drudge.

Calling facts-driven journalism "fake news" doesn't make it so. Reading facts rather than "alternative facts" really is fundamental; our country's sacred adherence to rule of law depends on it.
