Massena Central teachers, staff contributed to daughter's success

To the Editor:

This time of year we all think about our graduates and all the struggles and challenges they have survived to get to this amazing point in their lives.

I want to also take this time to thank and honor the teachers at Massena Central School for making this possible for my daughter Morgan.

Without the kindness and guidance from these amazing people, my daughter would not be the wonderful person she is. Mrs. Acton has been there for her since 9th grade.

If anyone is lucky enough to be honored with her as a French teacher, count your blessings because she is an amazing person.

Mr. Violi has not only taken her under his wing, but the entire Runkles clan, as we see him not only in school at various functions, but in the community as well.

Mr. Simpson, you know how Morgan feels about you and I can only say thank you for challenging her this year by pushing her beyond her comfort zone.

Mr. Lamacky, Mr. Putney, and all of the other superb teachers I am forgetting, I am forever grateful for your kindness.

I want to also thank Ms. Frazier, Morgan’s unforgettable 5th grade teacher.

I am devastated that Chloe will not have you but I am sure you will touch the lives of all those you teach as much as you have ours.

Massena will lose a great presence in the office this year as Mrs. Facto retires.

Thank you for putting up with us these past four years.

Morgan loves you and I completely understand why.

We are relocating as Morgan goes off to college in Florida.

I am saddened that our two babies will not have the opportunity to have their lives enriched by these wonderful teachers.

We will miss you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making Morgan’s high school years the best ones she could possibly have.
