On Sept. 11, my son and I participated in the third annual Autism Awareness Walk in Canton.
The money raised goes to NYSARC’s Children and Youth Services.
We would like to thank all the people who sponsored us in the walk: Rick and Sara Snell, Dale and Tracy Champion, Stephen Burns and Amanda Barkley, Jeff and Tammy Burns, Steve and Robin Barkley, Ron Whitman, Ron and June O’Neil, Gary and Patty Hartson, Jim and Leah McCall, Tim and Cheryl Thisse, Norman and Kate Cote, Mark and Cathy Henry, Jim and Brenda Rupert, Robert and Linda Willmart, Tim and Laurie Lucas, Larry and Carol Burns, Anita Cafarella, Pauline Murphy, Julia Gomez, Brian and Kathy Paige, Joe and Nancy Hughes, Nick Hargrave, Larry and Andrea Lossey, Norman and Tommy Warren, Neil Willmart, Tommy Delosh, Ronnie and Sandy Burns and all the employees at the Lisbon School District.
With the generosity of everyone we were able to have a very successful fundraiser that will provide training and supports for individuals with autism spectrum disorders in St. Lawrence County.
