Helping Hands continues to offer community help

The Helping Hands Food Pantry and other assistance programs will be open as a drive through service only Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

There will be no lunches served on site until the coronavirus threat is over per the NYS Health Department Directive.

For more information, or to see if you qualify for assistance from Helping Hands, call Tom Chappell at 315-268-0633. Helping Hands is located at 5868 Rt 56 in Hannawa Falls.

The food pantry serves the towns of Potsdam, Pierrepont, Parishville, Colton, South Colton, Madrid, Stockholm, Brasher, Hopkinton, Winthrop, Nicholville, Lawrence, Norwood, Norfolk and Raymondville.

Additionally we are still accepting non perishable food donations such as: canned goods, peanut butter, jellies and jams, canned soups, tuna, canned ravioli, fruit juice, cereal and any unopened cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, bleach, as well as paper towel, and toilet paper.
